Engagement Fee – Your Choice


We offer two options to engage our services:

1. Retained Services Agreement – A retainer covers a portion of our firm’s preparation, due-diligence, and marketing costs. The contingent success fee is slightly lower than with the Non-Retained Agreement.

2. Non-Retained Services Agreement – With no retainer our firm absorbs all costs and risks in taking your company to market. The contingent success fee is slightly more than with the Retained Agreement.

Success Fee Only on Closing


McDonald Dalton’s work is only finished when your business is sold for an acceptable value range.

Under either agreement, our success fee is paid after you have received payment of the agreed price in your bank.
